A 42m Explorer from Ken Freivokh Design and Bray Yacht Design

Ken Freivokh Design in collaboration with Naval Architect Patrick Bray has unveiled an eco-friendly 42m Explorer project.

Originally designed for the owner of Maltese Falcon, she can be used on her own or as a shadow yacht.

Using a hybrid diesel/electric technology, she can operate for up to 5 hours on battery power alone, quietly slipping through the water at an easy 6 knots.

With her low wake, low carbon footprint hull form, she can reach a top speed of 16 knots and a 4,000 nautical miles range at 14 knots.

As for the customised layout, the interior will display eco-friendly materials from renewable resources.

A special attention will be dedicated to the exterior areas where the spacious aft adventure deck will receive a mini-sub, seaplane, helicopter or even a large sportfish.
