Bray Yacht Design and Research has unveiled their most advanced passagemaker to date, the Latitude 49.
This yacht will have a FRP bulbous hull and superstructure and is designed to the ABS Rules of Unrestricted Offshore Vessels.
Powered by a single John Deere 300hp, she will have nearly 3,900 nautical miles range at 8 knots.
As for the layout, the lower deck will accommodate forward two guest cabins: one double and one twin. At the aft end is located the master en-suite cabin.
The main deck all on one level will feature at the forward end the well-appointed pilothouse with excellent visibility. Directly aft are the dining area to port and the galley to starboard. Aft, the choice of either a spacious full-width salon or a combination of a salon and side deck will lead onto the aft cockpit.
As for the flybridge, there will be also the opportunity to choose between three different layouts.
This passagemaker was ocean tested from Sitka (AK) to San Francisco (CA).After building a couple of these yachts, they are now looking at doing a production version. Photos: Courtesy of Bray Yacht Design and Research
