The New Explorer Yacht from JFA Yachts

The French-based shipard JFA Yachts has unveiled more details regarding their new 50m Explorer Yacht project.

JFA Yachts - 164' New explorer -moored above

Styled by Bill Dixon for the naval architecture and Franck Darnet Design for the interior, this 164 footer aluminium built Explorer Yacht will have only three decks allowing her to stay under 500 GTRT.

Powered by twin 1,000hp engines, she will have a 16.5 knots top speed and a 4,800 nautical miles range at 12.5 knots.

As for the layout, this yacht will accommodate 4 guest cabins on the lower deck.

JFA Yachts - 164' New explorer - Living room

The full-beam master cabin will be situated forward on the main deck with private access to the foredeck. Aft, the large salon with its dining area will be directly connected with the aft deck salon.

The upper deck will have another salon aft of the wheelhouse.

Alternatively, the master can be located on the upper deck instead of the salon allowing an amazing view and a private aft deck.
