Mathis Rühl, a French naval architect, came up with a very interesting project called SYNTHESIS. This 60m “Crossover” explorer yacht is designed for long distance cruising.
With her own and unique aesthetic, Synthesis emphasises on the outdoor space rather than focusing on the best “cabin square meters / boat length ratio”.
This yacht will have accommodation for 10 guests and up to 14 crew members.
As for the layout, the lower deck will feature the crew area including the 6 double cabins and the crew mess and galley.
The main deck will provide the 3 guest cabins forward. Directly aft is the dining and lounge area. Aft, the lobby will lead onto the aft adventure deck including a swimming pool and the deck crane.
The upper deck will have an impressive sundeck with an unobstructed view on 270° forward. Aft, the owner’s suite will lead to the petit salon. One of the main features will be the helm located on the upper part of the lobby allowing the captain to have the best visual control position. It will be like an observatory and will not interfere with the owner’s suite.
